Application to Volunteer for Shih Tzu Rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to finding homes for Shih Tzu that need new homes. We get these Shih Tzu through owner surrenders and shelters around the state of Wisconsin.

If you cannot foster a Shih Tzu but would like to help in other ways, please fill in our application for volunteering to help.

We are in need of volunteers for the following areas; Transporting, Reference Calling, Fund Raising, and Grooming. If you have other skills, knowledge, abilities, or talents that could help in the rescuing and adoption of the Shih Tzu in the state of Wisconsin we would welcome your volunteer help.

All of this is on a volunteer basis and the person who volunteers does so for the love of dogs, and the care that must be given to abandoned dogs.

Our procedure for joining our group and helping in rescue is as follows:

After you fill out the application and your references are contacted, we will arrange a visit to meet with you. This is to get acquainted and give you helpful hints about rescuing, and answering any questions you may have.

To complete the processing of this application, a visit to your home will need to be scheduled by a representative of the organization. Every member of the household must be present at the time of the visit. The purpose of the home visit is to discuss in further detail the rescue and what you as a volunteer are willing to do. I certify that the information I provided in this application is true and correct. I am at least 18 years of age I acknowledge that any misrepresentation will disqualify me from approval to volunteer. Shih Tzu Rescue of Central WI reserves the right to refuse or deny any application.
