Shih Tzu Rescue Finding New Homes For Our Fur Babies

Happy Endings

(Year 2010)

Dexter

Dexter
Spencer
Spencer

Before little Dexter came into rescue he was kept as an outside dog.  Dexter was not quite 8 months old when we rescued him.  In his foster home he loved playing with toys, laying on the sofa, sleeping in a real bed, and cuddling with people, all these things he had been missing out on.

Dexter has found a wonderful new mom, dad, human brother and sister in south central WI.  Dexter is their first dog, they all adore him and are enjoying spoiling him, he is very much loved.  Dexter will enjoy all the comforts of a real family home and never be lonely again.

Spencer was surrendered to rescue because he was bullying the cat in his home.  While Spencer was in foster care he did get into a few spats with another male dog in the foster homes so it was decided he may do best as an only dog.

Spencer has been adopted by a retired couple in northern WI that has no other pets.  Spencer is doing very good in his new home and they adore him.  He gets all the attention and love he deserves and doesn't have to share his mom and dad with any other pets in the home which makes him very happy.
Toby

Freddy
Freddy
Toby came into rescue when he was 10 months old because his owner was unable to care for him.  Toby is very smart and potty trained quickly, he also learned to sit.  He loves to play with toys, other dogs and people and he gives lots of kisses.

Toby has been adopted by a young couple in eastern MN whose dogs are their 'kids'.  He has a canine brother and sister to play with and keep him company.  Toby is very happy with his new family and they love everything about him.
Freddy is a Shih/Poo who came into rescue from a shelter where he was turned in because he didn't get along with young children.  In foster care Freddy did have some rough times when he was stressed, it became clear that he did not like other dogs or being surprised/startled by anyone/anything.

Freddy has gone to his new home in central WI where he has a mom, dad, and human brother, and sister.  He is an only dog which he loves.  They are continuing to work with Freddy and will be taking him to obedience training.  He is very much loved and well cared for by his entire family.
Bailey
Bailey
Peanut
Peanut
Bailey was a wonderful little boy while in rescue and has since been adopted. He has a human sister to play him and walk him now and his new Mom tells me he is very much loved. He now lives in MN. Peanut was a wonderful little boy while in foster care. He was almost a perfect little guy if there is such a dog. He was so respectful, and loving and fit right into his foster home as though he lived there all his life.

He has now been adopted to a home in central WI and has a new Mom and a sister Shih Tzu/Maltese to play with all day.
Charlie
Charlie
Libby
Libby
Charlie was an owner surrender to rescue due to his past owner going into a nursing home. Charlie was such a well adjusted, easy going boy who loved to give kisses and cuddle while watching watch TV.

He has since gone to his new home in northern WI and now has a human brother and sister to play with and sleep with as well as a black Lab sister and a kitty who is more his size and who he is very interested in.
He is very much loved.
Libby is a sweet little 3 year old Shih Tzu who came into rescue from a puppy mill here in WI with her recent litter of pups.  She is a happy little greeter who played with doggie toys and the other dogs while in her foster home.

She has gone to her new home in western WI with her new mom, dad, human brother, and canine Shih Tzu brother.  She is completely adored and showered with love.  Now Libby is living the pampered life that she was meant to have.
Max
Max
Rocky
Rocky
Max was a shy puppy mill survivor when he came into rescue.  In his foster home he became curious about people and the world around him and learned what toys were and how to play with them, learned to walk on leash and love walks and learned that going for a ride in the car is tons of fun..
Max has gone to his new home in central WI with a mom, dad, and two human sisters.  Max is an only dog and is very much loved and adored.  His new family is enjoying Max, he will be safe with them forever.
Rocky was a joy to have in foster care. He got along great with the other dogs in the home and was very much a lap dog. His foster parents couldn't sit down without having Rocky as a lap partner.

Rocky has gone to his new home in central WI and has a Mom and Dad who think the world of him. He couldn't be any more loved then he is by his new Mom and Dad
Scooter
Scooter
Molly
Molly
Scooter was our first and only puppy born in rescue.  Being a single puppy he got the attention he needed but was not spoiled.  He started potty training at 8 weeks and was rarely having accidents.
Scooter has gone to his new home in central WI with a retired mom & dad and canine brother & sister.  His new family has the time needed to continue his training and provide the love and attention little Scooter needs.
Molly is a sweet little girl and was a very easy foster dog.  She is potty trained and loves to go on walks and cuddle or do whatever you want to.  Molly didn't like a lot of commotion or little kids.

Molly has gone to her new home in southern WI with her new mom & dad.  They have a relaxed lifestyle that Molly needs and likes.  She is an only dog and gets all the love and attention she deserves.  Molly is so happy being spoiled by them now and forever.
